Here are some helpful general tips for videos Notes for  my classes should be done on loose paper so they are easily turned in each week instead of a notebook. Work Math Problems along with the Teacher in the Video. If the video does not match with your assigned work for the day, try the other lessons near the same number. Abeka has free video manuals for subjects you can refer to on their website. Go back and re-watch a concept that you may not have completely understood the first time. Try and answer the questions the teacher asks before the answer is given Just pretend you are watching Dora the Explorer and you will not feel embarassed :) 

Intermediate Math Students(7th Grade), Because your books are newly updated,Abeka does not have videos to match your new books. On your assignment handout which is also on my blog, I have coordinated a video that goes along with your lesson. Sometimes the video is from Algebra I(9th grade) or Pre-Algebra(8th grade). The concepts are still the same hence the video will be an added aid to your learning. Some days there is not a video to coincide with the lesson or we spend multiple days on a lesson with a video already watched. Your book is very good at explaining the concept. Beginning Wednesday, March 18 , a packet with each student's name on it will be in the church office. Be sure to pick up your packet to finish all activities, quizzes, and tests for each week from all your classes. All my assignments for the week are listed under each subject. Always check before beginning a new week of assignments. These will be due back in to the office on Sunday, March 29th  with any and all math problems assigned, read/outlining, PowerPoint notes (from the PowerPoints posted on my blog), section quiz questions, making connection questions, activities, quiz, and test. Any quizzes and the tests must be proctored by the student's parent and is to be taken without the book or notes. Anything not turned in on  Sunday, March 29th , will receive a 0%. If you complete all assigned work ahead of time, you can return your packet to the church office. You will be able to pick up your new assignments in the church office on a weekly basis every Sunday.
